A day in Remich

Sat 12th

After a very slow long breakfast of cheeses and fresh breads and liqueurs (!!), we walked across the bridge to the town on the other side - Nennig in Germany - and the Römische Villa. It has a wonderful mosaic floor of an old Roman villa (3rd century AD), discovered in 1852 when a local farmer was working his land.

Back again to Remich on the Luxembourg side, soup for lunch then off again - to the champagne house of St Martin.
