We fly into Frankfurt via Singapore and take the train to Boppard. Then train to Trier next day to pick up bikes. Cycle to meet Erika and Knud, possibly on the Saar. And I believe the plan is to barge through to Metz.
Specifically, the second map outlines our cycling itinerary Metz to Verdun along the Meuse up to Dinant in Belgium; then back to Trier via Luxembourg along the Sauer.
